George “Tink” Tinker (wazhazhe udsethe/Osage Nation) is the Clifford Baldridge Professor of American Indian Cultures and Religious Traditions at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado. As a member of the Osage Nation, he has worked in the Indian community for two decades as a director of Four Winds American Indian Survival Project in Denver. He is past president of the Native American Theological Association and a member of the Ecumenical Association of Third World Theologians. His publications include American Indian Liberation: A Theology of Sovereignty (2008).
